On the first day of December, the last month of the year, relax and restore with a 2-hour restorative yoga practice. Ana will offer this workshop to help you restore your body and calm your central nervous system with supported postures combined with essential oils to give you a balanced and healing yoga practice.
Restorative Yoga is done with the assistance of props such as bolsters, blocks, straps, blankets and pillows to completely relax and rest.
The purpose of this practice is to bring your nervous system back in balance so the body and mind can find calm.
Some benefits of Restorative Yoga:
-Weight loss
-Lower blood pressure
-Increase energy
-Better sleep
-Faster recovery for athletes or after injury
-Releases tension
-Stress relief
and more...
The practice will have candlelight meditation and essential oils so you can let go of any tension and stress that this season might cause, so you can fully bring your body and mind in to harmony.
The best part of this workshop is that it will not only DO GOOD for those that attend, but it will DO GOOD to the community around us as well.
How?
Because the ticket cost will not be monetary; to reserve a spot, we are asking you to "pay" with non-perishable food items with a suggested value of $20 or so, so we can donate to local families, children and seniors in need this season.
Together we can create a cycle of love, giving a little bit of ourselves can create an enormous impact when we come together.
Sunday December 1
4-6 pm
Cost: Donation of non-perishable food (suggested value of $20, but anything is appreciated).
