Lady Niguma was a mysterious female yogini from India who lived a thousand years ago. She met and was married to one of the most renowned yogis of all times, Naropa. She taught a special kind of yoga which removes the stress and troubles of modern working life at the same time that it keeps us young and fit. This sequence unwinds the knots in the subtle body, balances the emotions and trains the mind to enter higher states of consciousness. She was known for teaching women.
In this workshop, Julieta will teach us the history and legend of Lady Niguma, the lineage, philosophy, and the exploration of the subtle body (The Chakras) and then she will take students through a Niguma Series asana flow.
This is a 2 hour workshop that will give you a better understanding of the way the main Chakra system affects the body, and how to practice the sequence yourself.
This is one of our most popular classes and we want to dive deeper into its "why" so join us on Saturday December 4 from 1 to 3 pm.
